Blondes have surprised fans by releasing second album 'Swisher' as a digital download.
Crafting bewitching spells over analogue electronics, Blondes - aka Sam Haar and Zach Steinman - made a huge impression with their self-titled debut album.
By turns savage and tender, distorted and pure, 'Blondes' was an imposing document, difficult to shrug off. Well, now they're back. RVNG Intl. sent a short message to fans yesterday, indicating that Blondes were preparing to release their second album.
'Swisher' is out now as a digital download, and comes billed as "a bold expansion of Blondes’ recorded repertoire and an evolution of their sound for intense club atmospheres."
Matt Werth, RVNG Intl. commented: "We thought it would be an interesting gesture offering the album democratically -- It's definitely an experiment, but I'm really into the idea of everyone discovering the music together."
