Blonde Redhead’s ‘Before’ Is A Return To Innocence

Tune in now...

Seminal American group Blonde Redhead have shared new song ‘Before’.

The band make their long-awaited return later this year, with new album ‘Sit Down For Dinner’ set to land on September 29th. Hitting their high standards, each new song paints a broader picture, allowing the group to renew their approach in the process.

Alongside the release, you can look forward to an intimate show on September 22nd at London’s the Lower Third venue.

New song ‘Before’ is out now, and it seems to yearn for a greater sense of innocence. Amid the blizzard of guitars Kazu Makino sings: “Once upon a time / Was I a silent child seen it all before / Stop before you run / Before you make a run/Turn it upside down.”

The singer expands: “Some children seem quite knowing as if they remember their past lives… or at least that’s the impression I get. The song is a sort of celebration of that kind of quality in a young person.”

Tune in now.
