Bloc Party are set to release a new film based on the recording of new album ‘Intimacy’ with an expanded version of their new album due to be released on October 27th.
Titled ‘Live And Intimate’ it sees the band performing at The Pool Studios, where parts of ‘Intimacy’ were recorded with Paul Epworth. Epworth was responsible for the crisp sound on their now iconic debut album ‘Silent Alarm’ and shared production duties on ‘Intimacy’ with Jacknife Lee.
Details on the film are scarce, but its thought the live footage will be interspersed with interviews and other bonus features.
‘Intimacy’ has been available as a download for a month, and is set to get its physical release on Monday (October 27th). Non-album single ‘Talons’ was released on October 20th, and features typically amped up production from Epworth.
