Blizz Club have shared their brand new single ‘THE DARK.’
A momentous introduction to the German outfit’s forthcoming EP ’22’, the quartet are mapping out their next steps. Combining on a charged, magnetic production, the track races through gritty riffs, raw vocals and impacting drums. Although ferocious in its sonics, the track offers a moment of reflection, directly confronting emotional struggle and vulnerability. Indeed the band’s approach, one that favours its rough imperfections, helps elevate their message further and pin-drops the listener right in the studio with them.
First coming together in 2019, Blizz Club have been carving their own path, aligning their fans with those of Arctic Monkeys, Måneskin, BAD NERVES, and LEAP. Much has changed for Stole, David, Bennett and Ermal, having won last year’s German Emerganza Contest and now developing their live set-up. The upcoming project saw the band repurpose a barn into a self-made studio, creating an intimate environment in which they could refine their own production.
‘THE DARK’ offers a glimpse into this creative process, marking an exciting, new venture for Blizz Club.
Speaking on the track, they detail: “This song screams artistic expression, since it’s the first to feature basically all our studio instruments, forming a way bigger listening-experience.”
