Blink-182 have shared their new single ‘Edging’.
The original trio have reunited, with a full-scale international tour announced for 2023. The European run includes some all-important UK shows, and tickets are on sale now.
The dates are accompanied by plans for new material, with Mark, Travis, and Tom heading back into the studio together. Amid much fanfare, new single ‘Edging’ is now online, and it serves notice that Blink-182 are very much back on their bullshit.
Out now, it’s a gleeful piece of brattish pop-punk as only Blink can truly supply, right from the off: “I ain’t that cool, a little fucked in the head…”
A song about heading to “a special place in hell” it doesn’t shy away from some gross-out humour – just check out the line, “so I fucked her in church…”
The aim is to offend, with Blink-182 chanting: “I’m a punk rock kid, I came from hell with a curse…”
