South London rapper Blanco has shared new album ‘ReBuorne’.
The Kennington rapper dived into his fascination with Brazilian culture on 2021 project ‘City Of God’, a superb blend of UK drill, grime, and Baile Funk aspects. Winning a cult audience, Blanco’s superb rhythms sparked viral success, gaining more than 60 million streams in the process.
Working independently, Blanco delivered a handful of stellar singles, before finding renewed focus on a broader project.
Out now, ‘ReBourne’ displays the rapper’s ear for production, the lavish sound palettes moving between hard-hitting drill aspects, soft R&B-tinged soundscapes, and more. It’s an intricate but also deeply melodic listen, with Blanco joined in the studio by production talent like Litek, Jens Muller, Alexaybeats, ATG and KXLLAK.
With features from Kojey Radical, Avelino and AratheJay, ‘ReBourne’ shows the esteem Blanco is held in by his peers, across 12 punchy, succinct tracks.
Tune in now.
