Kennington rapper Blanco is one of the best around right now, with his breakout project ‘City Of God’ fusing Brazilian culture with UK drill aspects. A versatile spitter, he’s able to blend his mic dexterity with an ear for new sounds.
A flurry of singles have continued his evolution, alongside a viral Daily Duppy in the process. Returning to the booth, new single ‘The Long Way’ finds Blanco joined by Mercury nominated story-teller Kojey Radical.
For all his finesse, it’s great to hear Kojey go hard on a cold beat – indeed, Blanco seems to bring something new and rugged out of his fellow Londoner.
