Manchester electro group The Whip are set to release their new single “Blackout” on July 14th, it has been announced.
The Whip released their quite nifty debut album “X Marks Destination” earlier this year to warm reviews. The album is chock full of electro anthems, including stomping previous single “Sister Siam”. The Whip will release new single “Blackout” on July 14th, and it is a pulsing, pulsating anthem in the making.
The four piece are part of a new wave of dance music coming out of Manchester, just in time for the 20th anniversary of the second summer of love. The band are set for a busy summer including a massive tour extending as far as Australia, and a number of festival appearances including The Great Escape, Creamfields and this weekend’s Isle of Wight festival.
The Whip’s new single “Blackout” is due to be released on July 14th.
