Black Country, New Road have shared their astounding new single 'Sunglasses'.
The band's potent live show has already sparked huge word of mouth, an underground guitar group with a genuinely freeflowing aesthetic.
Out digitally on July 26th, new single 'Sunglasses' is a true statement of intent, marrying post-punk to free jazz alongside spoken word.
Truly existing on its own terms, 'Sunglasses' will be given a seven inch vinyl release on September 6th through Blank Editions.
An inspiring noise, it moves from chapters of corrosion towards something beautiful, if oblique, and we've been playing it non-stop sent it was sent across.
Frontman Isaac Wood outlines the song's themes: "it describes a series of events, loosely connected, all yet to happen. The song was intended to be highly inspirational. The lyrics are sometimes concerned with symbols of wealth or affluence but they are not written from a critical or even external position."
