Bjork has posted the cover for the album version of 'Biophilia' on her Twitter feed.

'Biophilia' is intended to highlight the relationship between nature, humanity and technology so it is only fitting that Bjork makes extensive use of social networking. Keeping fans updated via her Twitter feed, the Icelandic singer has used the site to preview videos, apps and now her album cover.

Part performance, part app and part studio album 'Biophilia' is spread across several distinct areas. The studio album is due to drop on September 26th, with Bjork now revealing the cover shot.

A typically flamboyant pose from the singer, it highlights her love of fashion. Posted online via her Twitter feed, the picture has already caused enormous discussion between fans.

Recently releasing a new app, Bjork has been building up to the release of 'Biophilia' as a studio album for some time. The latest app is 'Virus' which uses the track of the same name from the studio project.

Focussing on the spread of the virus, the unusual animation follows from the recent 'Crystalline' single. To catch up, Bjork has posted a video previewing material from 'Virus', 'Cosmogony' and 'Crystalline'.
