Billy Nomates has shared her new song ‘saboteur forcefield’.
The Bristol artist’s new album ‘CACTI’ lands on January 13th through Invada Records, and it follows a summer packed with festival highlights. Switching up her approach, ‘saboteur forcefield’ grapples with 80s synth elements, with the warped and woozy sound matched to confessional lyrics.
Gently melodic, the subtlety of the approach is mirrored to Billy Nomates’ blunt word play, with ‘saboteur forcefield’ finding the songwriter look in the mirror.
Dubbed “the first step” in her path to unlearning destructive patterns, she says ‘Saboteur Forcefield’ is “about the inevitable feeble fight against feeling and progress”.
