Billie Eilish Says Donald Trump “Hates Women”

She broke down during her Nashville show...

Billie Eilish addressed Donald Trump’s election victory during her Nashville show overnight (November 6th).

The singer is currently completing a massive American tour, and was scheduled to play Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 6th. The concert coincided with the Presidential results, with Billie Eilish having publicly endorsed Democrat candidate Kamala Harris.

During the show, Billie Eilish seemed to break down with emotion, telling the crowd:

“Waking up this morning, I kinda couldn’t fathom doing a show on this day. But.. the longer the day went on I kinda had this feeling of it’s such a privilege I get to do this with you guys and that we have this in a time that…”

“I just love you so much and I want you to know that you’re safe with me and you’re protected here and you’re safe in this room,” she told her fans.

The set featured a version of ‘Your Power’, with the somewhat apt lyrics: “Try not to abuse your power / I know we didn’t choose to change…”

Discussing this song with the crowd, Billie Eilish told them: “Someone who hates women so, so deeply is about to be the President. This song is for all the women out there. I love you, I support you.”
