The singer’s long-awaited album ’11:11′ lands early next year, with Biig Piig diving into her pop-etched neo-soul sound.
The latest preview is online now, with ‘Ponytail’ presenting a message from the heart. Lyrically, it’s about breaking a negative cycle in your life, but it blends those feelings with some uplifting club aspects.
A self-described “sad banger” it’s pristine Biig Piig – a song delivered with tonnes of character, and a tongue in cheek aspect.
She comments…
“I was thinking about the feeling of tied to someone and wanting to break the cycle, but not being able to, and kind of admitting defeat,” Biig Piig explains of the brand-new track. “It’s a bit of a sad banger. Crying at the club: my favourite thing to do!”
