Big Deal are set to release their new single ‘Talk’ on April 2nd – watch the Yoonha Park directed video on ClashMusic now.
A Trans-Atlantic duo, Big Deal finds an American boy (Kacey Underwood) and British girl (Alice Costelloe crossing swords. Debut album ‘Lights Out’ was a piece of ragged, torn songwriting with a real early 90s bent.
Returning to live duties, Big Deal have decided to release a new single. Taken from their debut full length, ‘Talk’ was initially eleased in demo form on Moshi Moshi last year.
A gentle, soothing moment from the pair, ‘Talk’ ends with the biting couplet: “all I wanna do is talk/ but seeing you f**ks me up”. Equipped with ‘Locked Up’ as a B-side, the new single drops on April 2nd.
Given a visual treatment by director Yoonha Park, the video is by turns evocative and shocking, damaged yet tender. Watch it now…

Meanwhile, Big Deal are also gearing up for a one off UK show. Taking place on February 24th, the Bush Hall date follows twelve months of intensive touring from the two piece.
