Big Deal are on the comeback trail, with the London based duo streaming new track 'Teradactol'.
Big Deal are stirring. The band took time off earlier this year, deciding to focus their energy on studio work. Playing a handful of shows – including a recent date with Clash at the Lexington – it seems that the band are almost ready to unveil their new material.
This morning the group pointed fans towards a brand new track. 'Teradactol' finds Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe entering noisier territory, with the song opening with near shoegaze levels of ferocious guitar assault.
Those honeycomb melodies are still in place, though, with Big Deal displaying a beautifully tense grasp of minimal dynamics. Grabbing hold of a new drummer and bass player to work as a four piece, the new track was seemingly recorded with Rory Atwell on board Lightship75.
An exciting primer for their new album, you can listen to 'Teradactol' below.
