Biffy Clyro have announced that 'Black Chandelier' is to be the first single to be taken from their forthcoming album 'Opposites'.
The single is scheduled for a January 14th release date, with the album to follow two weeks later on the 28th. The single is available both digitally and as a 7", with the digital version featuring two new songs that aren't on the album, 'Thundermonster' and 'The Rain'.
Alongside this, the single features a live version of 'Many Of Horror' recorded at this summer's RockNess festival. The 7" features B-side 'Milky', another new track that will not be appearing on the album.
The boys must have been particularly productive in the studio because 'Opposites' is set to feature 22 tracks in total, spread over two discs. These inner workings of the band will be laid bare in a 'making-of' feature length documentary which comes packaged with the album.
