Biffy Clyro Begin New Album

Band At Work On Farm

Hairy Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have claimed in a new interview that they have begun working on the follow up to 2007’s ‘Puzzle’, and they have retreated to a farm to record.

The band were interviewed in an exciting web chat on Clashmusic.com on Friday, and the group have apparenlty been on chatty form revealing their plans to BBC 6Music.

Breakthrough album ‘Puzzles’ was released in 2007, coming after years of hard work it propelled the band into the mainstream. Apart from Top Ten single ‘Mountain’ nothing has been heard of Biffy Clyro since, and fans are eagerly anticipating new material.

Bassist James Johnston told the radio station “we’ve been working hard on a little farm in a little barn, working on demos and new songs.”

“We are not quite ready to go yet, we probably won’t go into it until next year.”

“We’d love to put it out as soon as possible but we just need to be patient and get everything right. We’ll be back before too long, but I think we are going to have a little break for the next couple of months. People won’t hear too much from us.”
