In what must rank as one of the most notorious and commented upon pieces of celebrity news for some time, Solange struck out at Jay-Z earlier this year.
Leaving an awards ceremony in New York, the singer lashed out at the rapper while wife Beyonce looked on. Footage from 'the elevator incident' – as it has become known – was leaked to the press, immediately sparking huge discussion.
Now Beyonce has decided to comment upon the incident via a new remix. 'Flawless' has been re-worked, with Nicki Minaj reprising her role on the album cut.
Throwing in some extra verses, there's a neat nod towards Outkast’s'‘SpottieOttieDopaliscious' just before Minaj enters the scene.
There's also this lyric: "sometimes shit goes down when there’s a billion dollars in the elevator…"
