Amy Winehouse has capped a hugely successful year (musically speaking) with her “Back To Black” set being named the year’s best selling album.
Re-released in a deluxe edition just in time for Christmas it will surely be filling many a stocking this Christmas – over 1.8 million copies have been sold in 2007. Winehouse looks set to have both original and deluxe editions in the Top Ten Christmas Album Charts, whilst her debut album “Frank” has also re-entered the charts. Her debut has also enjoyed a resurgence in sales, with over 300,000 copies being sold throughout the year.
Next year could also begin brightly for the singer as she is nominated for an unprecedented six Grammy awards. The ceremony will take place in February.
