Perhaps the most unusual music auction of the year is taking place right now, with a starting bid of $3,000,000!
Built by a collector, the lot has over 3 million records and a mere 300,000 CDs. Apparently including every album of note released in the 20th Century, the collection features The Beatles nestling snuggly next to Britney.
Although many may baulk at the asking price, the quoted value of the collection is over $50,000,000. Too rich for our blood, though the more affluent among you may be tempted.
