An exciting new concert film documenting Lou Reed’s recent “Berlib” tour has been announced, with a UK premiere on July 25th.
The film was directed by Julian Schnabel and features a performance from St. Anne’s Warehouse, New York. Titled “Lou Reed’s Berlin” the film is an evocative portrait of Reed performing one of his greatest works.
The “Berlin” tour was one of the highlights of live music in recent years, as the master songwriter revisited his harrowing work. The film will be shown at selected cinemas across the country.
Lou Reed will also be touring his “Berlin” themed concert, playing the following venues:
June 24th – Belfast, Waterfront
June 25th – Edinburgh, Playhouse
June 26th – Nottingham, Royal Centre
June 30th – London, Royal Albert Hall
