Benga has unveiled a preview cut from his forthcoming album ‘Chapter 2’ – set for release in August.
Whatever happened to the class of 2005? The initial band of dubstep pioneers have drifted apart, with the genre itself splintering into numerous offshoots covered by the much-loathed umbrella term ‘UK bass’.
Now signed to Columbia, Benga is a bona fide mainstream phenomenon following the success of his partnership with Katy B. Preparing a solo album, upcoming full length ‘Chapter 2’ is set to drop in August.
The producer recently uploaded a preview cut to YouTube. ‘I Will Never Change’ is a statement of intent – sitting at 140BPM the track is all serious bass weight and jaw shuddering drops.
Available to download from March 5th, you can stream it below.
