Ben Pearce has stepped in to remix HAIM's recent single 'Falling'.
In one corner, the year's most commercially successful, guitar-clad newcomers. In the other, a house don who has dominated the nation's dancefloors across the past 12 months.
So in a way, it was inevitable that Ben Pearce would remix HAIM: it was simply a matter of when and why.
Launching his new website, the producer decided to upload something special. Re-working HAIM's single 'Falling' into a stomping big room house anthem, Ben Pearce applied his own stamp to the Californian sisters.
It's an intriguing re-work. Retaining the essential bite of the songwriting, Ben Pearce lays down a four to the floor beat and some blissful synths he no doubt perfected across his breakthrough summer.
