Belle & Sebastian are set to take charge of a DJ Mix for the Late Night Tales series.
Belle & Sebastian like to dance. Indie pop icons, each member of the band has at one point stood behind a pair of turntables with a full dancefloor in front of them.
Invited to curate a new volume – their second to date – for Late Night Tales, Belle & Sebastian have responded with a typically eclectic mix. Opening with Broadcast (who get namechecked twice on the mix) the group move from Beat Groups to West Coast psych, straddling every genre from ‘deep jazz’ to chillwave.
Oh, and as a special bonus Belle & Sebastian have recorded a new version of ‘Crash’ by The Primitives.
