You can now live out your dreams of playing with The Beatles in a new computer game, it has been announced.
A new partnership has resulted in an amazing new game where you can join the Beatles. Yes it doesn’t matter if your name doesn’t happen to be John, Paul, George or Ringo – you too can join the band. The game was conceived by the remaining Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono.
In addition to this, Giles Martin – responsible for the ‘LOVE’ project – will be on board as music producer. The new game marks the first time anywhere that the Fab Four’s music has been licensed for an interactive game.
“The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of The Beatles and their music. I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out,” Sir Paul McCartney said.
The new game will be a joint production between Apple Corps, Harmonix and MTV Games – who also own the ‘Rock Band’ franchise.
The game is scheduled for release in 2009.
