Beastie Boys Expand Tour

'Get Out And Vote' Dates Added

Rap legends the Beastie Boys have announced additional dates on their forthcoming ‘Get Out And Vote Tour’ in aid of encouraging voter registration in the upcoming US election.

The band will play a series of dates in the run up to the November 4th ballot. Support on the tour comes from a wide variety of sources, including Santogold, Tenacious D, Ben Harper, Sheryl Crow as well as songwriting legends Crosby & Nash.

The line up will alter each night, but the breadth of talent on display is truly mouth watering. The dates will be accompanied by representatives from the ‘Rock The Vote’ organization who will be on hand to aid voter registration.

With both candidates neck and neck in the upcoming election, voter registration is vital. The Beastie Boys are outspoken supporters of Barack Obama, going as far as to issue a recent statement saying “We hope that you can come out, have a nice night, dance, sing, get your freak on, and then wake up the next morning and get everyone that you possibly can to get out and vote”.

More news on this tour will follow shortly!
