Barry Can’t Swim Announces New Album ‘Loner’

New album 'Different' is out now...

Barry Can’t Swim will release his new album ‘Loner’ on July 11th.

The producer signalled his return with ‘The Person You’d Like To Be’, a pensive mood piece with distorted spoken word vocals. Set to headline All Points East Festival this summer – alongside Lost Village and Forward – Barry Can’t Swim has completed work on his second album.

Incoming LP ‘Loner’ features 12 tracks, including features from fellow electronic maverick O’Flynn and spoken word artist Seamus.

Out on July 12th, the album follows his vastly successful debut ‘When Will We Land?’ which sparked a BRIT nomination and a spot on the Mercury Prize shortlist. The producer comments…

“If my first album was a collage of all the music I loved and was inspired by growing up, then this album is the most authentic expression I could offer of myself and my life over the past year…”
