bar italia have released an exciting rock song – ‘my little tony’ – and announced a new album, ‘The Twits’.
The trio’s new single is an exciting and carefree track full of confidence and stand-off riffs. ‘my little tony’ displays Nina Cristante’s usual cool girl vocals, singing “your pretentious ways make me die a little” whilst the band expands their sound into more of a Sonic Youth riff-frenzy. The band have also released a music video, a montage of short clips from a house party, completing Bar Italia’s laid-back and edgy vibe.
‘my little tony’ is the first track on ‘The Twits’ set to be released on November 3rd on Matador, less than six months after their first album, ‘Tracey Denim’. Bar Italia has been on a busy 2023 tour and made their American debut in June. In November, they will continue their 2023 tour by headlining a sold-out show at The Village Underground.
