London riser Baobei has shared her effervescent single ‘Don’t Think About It’.
The emerging artist hosted a special party in South London last week, with friends and family turning it into a road block. Airing her new single for the first time, Baobei sought to cross melodic introspection with hints of club energy.
Out now, ‘Don’t Think About It’ contains hints of UKG, the elastic bounce of the beat pivoting against her dulcet vocal. Baobei doesn’t shy away from emotion – British-Chinese artist Lila Yin, she presents a single shot through with life experience.
Co-produced by Mojam, the single is out today via Baobei’s own Hotpot Records – make time for the video, co-directed alongside Relta and Ray BLK.
