BANKS Announces New Album ‘III’

It will land on July 12th...

BANKS will release her new album 'III' on July 12th.

The American artist's second album 'The Altar' arrived in 2016, and was followed by an extensive period of touring.

Using this spell to grow as an artist and a personal, these subtle shifts in her life are echoes in her new material.

New album 'III' lands next month, with BANKS labelling it "an ode to my journey…"

She continues: "It documents a major growth spurt. Of self-acceptance, letting go, forgiveness, and deep love. It has been painful to realise that life is not black and white. Romanticism leads to fierce reality checks, which leads to wisdom, which leads to deeper empathy which leads to greater love. This album documents the cycle."

New single 'Look What You're Doing To Me' is online now, produced alongside BJ Burton (Bon Iver) and Francis and The Lights.

She comments: “‘Look What You’re Doing To Me’ is a song about love. About falling in love, being in love and how you feel when you’re high on love. Vibrant, scared, on fire, excited, and all the goodness in between.”

Tune in now.
