Banfi’s New Single Speaks Of Christmas Grief

'Caroline' dwells on the personal...

Banfi have shared their new single 'Caroline' – a song that deals with grief during the Christmas period.

The rising three-piece have just completed a full European tour, with their anthemic opening quartet of singles underlining their potential.

New song 'Caroline' though, twists and turns in another direction, one dominated by a very personal sense of grief.

There's a slight festive tinge to the track as well, with Banfi recognising that for many the Christmas period is dominated by loss.

Joe Banfi says: "The demo of the song only started to make sense and come together when I realised I was writing the lyrics for my parents and their loss, and other people out there who lose their parents at such a crucial age, like my friend who lost her mum recently.”

A moving return, that nagging chorus drives the point home in a quietly emphatic manner.

Tune in now.
