British rockers Band Of Skulls are set to expand their debut album after confirming a one off London show.
Somehow, it’s become passé to rock out. Guitar groups across the country are turning their material over to guest producers, inviting them to shove an electro house beat beneath their six string riffage.
Shunning the trend, Band Of Skulls are a no nonsense rock band. Recalling the demented blues of The White Stripes, the trio earned a stunning reputation with their hugely energetic live show.
Debut album ‘Baby Darling Doll Face Honey’ was released last year, delighting fans who thirsted for red blooded rock ‘n’ roll. Band Of Skulls are now set to re-visit their album, with an expanded version lying on the horizon.
Originally released last year, the deluxe version contains a number of radio sessions. Band Of Skulls have added an XFM Session containing live renderings of ‘I Know What I Am’, ‘Fires’ and ‘Blood’.
Sitting alongside some other bonus material, the new version of ‘Baby Darling Doll Face Honey’ is set to be released on September 20th. Alongside this, the album version of ‘Fire’ is to get a new lease of life with a full single release.
Due to hit the shops on September 13th, the single comes as Band Of Skulls prepare to hit the festival season. Due to play Reading and Leeds, Wakestock and more the group will finish with a one off show in London.
Taking place in London on October 7th, tickets for the Band Of Skulls show are set to go on sale shortly.
