Band of Horses are amongst the first names on the line up for this summer's instalment of Green Man.
Located in the Brecon Beacons, the Green Man festival is one of the UK's most unique outdoor events. Continually expanding year on year, the Welsh festival has evolved far beyond its wyrd folk roots.
Returning for another year, the Green Man team have unveiled Band of Horses as their first headliner. Set to play on the Saturday night, the American band are following the breakthrough success of 'Mirage Rock' last year.
Their most successful album to date, Band of Horses were propelled into a whirlwind of touring. Plotting their return, the group will headline the Green Man festival alongside a host of big names.
The Horrors are set to perform at the Welsh festival, while Local Natives will showcase second album 'Hummingbird'. Scottish songwriter Edwyn Collins is closing in on the release of his new solo album, and the Orange Juice legend is set to bring his fresh material to Brecon Beacons.
Folk legend Roy Harper is planning to drop by, with other appearances confirmed from The Pastels, Archie Bronson Outfit, Woods, James Yorkston, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and plenty more.
Tickets are on sale HERE.
The Green Man runs between August 15th – 18th.
