Belgian art-pop collective Balthazar have shared their slinky new single 'You Won't Come Back Around'.
The band's 2018 album 'Fever' saw the Belgian outfit teasing apart their sound, absorbing fresh elements in the process.
Since then, central duo Jinte Deprez and Maarten Devoldere have embarked on outside projects, taking these lessons back to the group.
Working with alacrity, Balthazar decided to go straight back into the studio, with new album 'Sand' out on February 26th.
The speed of its composition adds a breeziness to the sound, with new single 'You Won't Come Back Around' absorbing wisps of intoxicating R&B.
A neat synth jammer from the art-pop outfit, it's a break up song with a difference. Say the band...
“Breakup songs come in different shapes. This one's about the guilt you feel after you follow your selfish heart blindly into a new love...”
