Baker Grace Searches For A Connection With ‘Bottle Of Wine’

Gianennio Salucci shot the evocative video...

Baker Grace has shared her new single 'Bottle Of Wine'.

Still only 19 years old, this precocious yet assured talent blossoms with every release.

New EP 'Yourz Truly' broadens her vision, and this is explicitly evident on her fresh single.

Out now, 'Bottle Of Wine' has a subtle reggae groove, intermingling with her soulful vocal.

A song about her ego being pricked, it's about confidence, and how fragile that aspect of her life can be.

She explains: "It's about how quickly our thoughts can turn negative to see the worst in ourselves and others when we experience an absence of comfort and love…"

The dream-like video was shot by Gianennio Salucci, and it finds Baker Grace entering different rooms, embarking on a silent search.

She continues:

"The 'Bottle Of Wine' video was recorded prior to quarantine, but serves as a representation of what can happen when we feel disconnected to the people we love and to ourselves."

"I wanted to showcase the vices we can turn to in order to fulfill the void and how they end up bringing us further into our delusions and further away from ourselves. In the end, I realise all I really needed was to remember and be reminded that I am loved."

Tune in now.
