High-wired art-rock Newcomers Baddies have announced they will return to the UK in 2009 for a series of live shows, following a end-of-year scrum that’s looking set to see them become one of the breakthrough indie acts of next year.

The Southend four-piece, who released their debut single last month, will spend the start of the year playing throughout Europe, before returning to the UK for a string of shows, tickets can be snapped up below.

For those who are eager to get the best new music first however, Baddies will play The Clash Club tomorrow night a the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen ( read more here ) with Scots indie heroes Frightened Rabbit.

Baddies also graced the Clash track of the day section (hear their frantic blast ‘Open One Eye’ Here) recently, and have now confirmed they will also join the Clash End Of Year Revue show with Simian Mobile Disco, Buraka Som Sistema, David Holmes and more (get tickets here ).
