Toronto avant jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD have placed 'Open Channels' online.
The band's impressive album 'Talk Memory' landed last year, and eagle-eyed – or should that be eagle-eared? – fans quickly spotted an additional track on the physical version.
'Open Channels' opens in languid, improvisatory scenes, before gradually coming into focus, as if the group are gently waking from there slumber.
Spiritual in tone, the gorgeous sonics drift in and out of view, suggesting but never stating as 'Open Channels' meanders along its path.
Typically fascinating, 'Open Channels' is now available digitally, with BADBADNOTGOOD also sharing a stylish black-and-white short film directed by Sylvain Chaussée.
Tune in now.
