BADBADNOTGOOD Complete EP Triptych With ‘Mid Spiral: Growth’

It follows their dazzling Cross The Tracks set...

BADBADNOTGOOD have shared new EP ‘Mid Spiral: Growth’ in full.

The Canadian group are continually venturing forwards, forever embracing new ideas. BADBADNOTGOOD – Al Sow, Chester Hansen and Leland Whitty – kicked off an EP trilogy earlier this month, three documents of aesthetic growth.

The ‘Mid Spiral suite’ opened with Chaos, continued with Order, and now closes with ‘Mid Spiral: Growth’. Fresh from a knockout set at London festival Cross The Tracks, this new EP contains a riveting array of ideas, with a handful of guests drawn from the Toronto jazz scene.

Out now, the EP boasts contributions from Kaelin Murphy (trumpet), Juan Carlos Medrano Magallenes (percussion) and LA musician Tyler Lott (guitar), crafted during an intensive week of recording at Valentine studio earlier this year.

An album’s worth of material, the EP trilogy will be collated as one double-LP vinyl and CD, available to pre-order now.

Tune in now.
