Futureheads Announce Single And Tour

Post punk mavericks The Futureheads have announced their return, after being dropped by 679 Records. The band, who had a successful first album and were always a popular live act, were no doubt as mystified at their departure from the label as we were.

Never ones to let adversity get the better of them, the Sunderland four piece are set to return in February with their new single titled “The Beginning Of The Twist”. The band are currently on tour, but have added a number of new shows.

The Futureheads will now play the following dates:

January 26th – University of Sheffield, Foundry
January 27th – Leeds University Union, Mine
January 28th – Norwich, The Waterfront
January 29th – Bournemouth Students’ Union, The Old Fire Station

February 23rd – Northampton Soundhaus
February 25th – Exeter, Phoenix
February 27th – Tamworth, Palace

March 1st – Barrow-In-Furness, The Canteen
March 2nd – Edinburgh, Liquid Room
March 3rd – Newcastle, Northumbria Uni 2
