Baby In Vain have shared new track 'Transcendent' – tune in now.
The Danish three-piece are an awesome live proposition, and recently hopped on boards the PINS tour bus for a burst of UK shows.
Alongside this Baby In Vain have been working on new material, the follow up to 2016 EP 'For The Kids'.
New cut 'Transcendent' is online now, and it's a darkly enticing return, rock music laced with foreboding.
Andrea Thueson says: "We had a very intense week of songwriting in our rehearsal room last summer. We were trying to write this one song, and it just didn't want to be written. We jammed and jammed but we were stuck. One day we went outside to say hello to the sun and clear our minds a little, and suddenly this melody got stuck in my head. I don’t know where it came from, but it was there to stay."
"The lyrics for this one was hard to write. I couldn’t really wrap my head around anything specific at that time, and it wasn’t until we were in the studio recording the album for the first time, that I was able to. Our first shot at recording this album went terribly wrong, and it was a very weird and distressing time. I was very anxious the whole time, so it seemed appropriate and relevant to write about anxiety. How it consumes you and leaves no room for rational thinking or any other emotions."
Tune in now.
