German dance duo, autoKratz, return in June with new album ‘Animal’ and a Primal Scream approved cover of ‘Swastika Eyes’.
Released on Kitsune Records, ‘Animal’ is the follow up to 2008’s ‘Down & Out In London & Paris’ with the single ‘Always More’ coming our way as a primer of their new material.
Also on the album is the duo’s cover of ‘Swastika Eyes’, which appeared on Primal Scream‘s classic ‘XTRMNTR’ album, and which received an official thumbs up from Bobby Gillespie and Mani, both already on the record as fans of autoKratz.
The duo talked about the new album, David saying “As a record, Its unique and its personal. Its captured an energy which I think is genuinely exciting and reflective of who we are as people.” Partner Russell has a similar sense of accomplishment, “We were so keen to create something out of the ordinary; something people might not expect. The result is songs about us that we hope to have a real impact on people’.
autoKratz’ new album ‘Animal’ is released on Kitsune on June 15th.
