Body Type
It's a garage-tinged indie pop melter...

Australia's Body Type excel on new release 'Palms'.

The four-piece have inked a deal with Partisan Records, who will release debut EP 'Body Type' on October 19th.

New song 'Palms' is online now, a seriously addictive piece of indie pop that pits the emotional tug of shoegaze with the raw, unfettered approach of garage.

Lead vocalist Sophie McComish shares: "'Palms' comes from observing moments of concatenation, when everything in your life lines up in a way that feels like the universe is trying to tell you something. Ultimately though, regardless of whether you are in control of your own fate or if Lady Destiny might have something to do with it doesn’t really matter, the world still turns."

The video is a dazzling affair, taking Body Type out to the Australian countryside. Bassist Georgia Wilkinson-Derums adds: "The BT brigade went off road for our latest shoot. Thanks to Jack Wotton and crew who conceptualised a freaky, cheeky dreamscape for our latest singe, 'Palms'. We followed a trail to a location unknown and what happened next is all a dream."

Tune in now.
