Band Record Unique Version Of Single

Glasgow jangly poppers Attic Lights are set to release new single ‘Wendy’ on October 6th – and you could have a special version written about you!

The acclaimed Glasgow indie group have hit upon a novel idea – they will re-record the chorus of ‘Wendy’ and replace it with popular girls and boys names. This means that everyone can have a shimmering indie pop anthem written about them, with lead singer Kev Sherry commenting that “It’s such a simple idea; I can’t believe no-one’s thought of doing it before. Just imagine your own personal versions of ‘Ruby’, ‘Billy Jean’, ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Mandy’, the list is endless!”

The new personalized versions of ‘Wendy’ are available here from October 6th. It is followed a week later by the release of the band’s quite excellent debut album ‘Friday Night Lights’.

Attic Lights are also set to play a massive tour with former Beautiful South man Paul Heaton, calling in at the following dates:
