All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced the stage times for this year’s event, and provide more mouth watering evidence of what a great event it will be.
Both Portishead and Aphex Twin will play twice, it has been announced, so that they can perform their sets without restrictive sound issues. The Portishead shows have been wrist banded, guaranteeing entry for fans, whilst the Aphex Twin show will be on a first-come first-served basis.
The line up provides some intriguing reading. In the space of an afternoon fans can watch GZA / Genius, Glenn Brana, Portishead and Aphex Twin all on the same stage. Elsewhere intriguing pairings such as Seasick Steve following Julian Cope have emerged, whilst Thurston Moore will follow The Horrors.
With other performers including the legendary Can vocalist Damo Suzuki, Manchester punk poet John Cooper Clarke and punk-jazz group Polar Bear it looks like a few minds will be blown at this year’s festival.
