Art d’Ecco has shared his new song ‘The Traveller’.
The Vancouver artist’s new album ‘Serene Demon’ is out on February 14th, announcing last month via an epic four-part introductory suite.
Packed with ideas, Art d’Ecco steers his pop vision into the unknown, grappling with extremities of light and shade.
New song ‘The Traveller’ continues his journey, and it breaks free of the shackles of the past. Hugely inventive, the track aims to veer between two poles – his artful instincts, and a desire to construct something pop-oriented.
“Once you’ve trained the ear of the audience, it establishes a new precedent,” he comments in a new note. “That moves pop music forward in the most beautiful, organic way, and I’m constantly trying to exist within that paradigm. How do I challenge myself and throw the rule book out, but still make this the catchiest, quirkiest piece of music possible? I like existing between those two worlds.”
