The Glasgow-based collective unveil their new album...

Ari Tsugi have shared their new album ‘Simultaneity (同時性)’ in full.

The group are based in Glasgow, a city with a distinctive jazz scene that coalesces with other genres. The Japanese-Scottish collective incorporates numerous voices, including corto.alto’s Mateusz SobieskiAzamiah’s India Blue and Liam Shorthall.

Out now on Rebecca Vasmant’s imprint Rebecca’s Records, new album ‘Simultaneity (同時性)’ has a heady, spiritual quality. The document of a soul journeying through the seasons, the tonal shifts between each song presents an in-depth grasp of curation.

Borrowing club tropes and presenting them in a fresh manner, the album climaxes with ‘Mezame (覚醒)’ – the longest track on the record, and also the sole composition to be completely improvised.
