Perhaps the biggest guitar group in these Isles, Arctic Monkeys are now extending their tendrils across the Atlantic.
Making headway in the United States, the Sheffield lads returned to the UK recently to play an epic two night stand at Finsbury Park.
Taking time out to speak to the NME, Alex Turner reflected on their recent growth – and admitted that he wanted to finish working on 'AM' before focussing on a follow up.
"I've written a few things, but I'm not in a hurry," he said. "We're going to keep going (with touring) until the summer and beyond that a little bit, maybe. I don't know. I wouldn't think it'll be too soon that we do the next one."
"It's been going really well in America and there's still lots of shit still to do on this album," the singer continued. "I don't feel, for once, that we need to rush and get on to the next thing. It seems like a good place to leave it for a minute."
