A new Canadian indie super group is brewing with members of Arcade Fire and The Unicorns uniting on new project Clues.
With Arcade Fire on downtime, member Brendan Reed has got together with a few friends to make some rather intriguing music. Joining together with Alden Penner of The Unicorns, new band Clues have caused in a stir in their native Montreal with their grand, instrument packed live shows.
Other members in the group include notable Canadian musicians such as Ben Borden, Lisa Gamble and Nick Scribner. With their live performances already attracting gasping audiences, the band are set to take to the road playing a handful of dates outside their native Canada.
With an album due to drop in Sping 2009, the band have previewed new song ‘Perfect Fit’ on their Myspace page – and a fine listen it is too!
Clues will release their debut album in 2009.
