Arcade Fire have confirmed their involvement in the ongoing 'Reflektor' campaign.
Gone are the days of billboard adverts, television and appearances and radio exclusives. These days, it seems that no big release worth its salt can get by without a decent viral marketing campaign.
Following in the footsteps of David Bowie et al Arcade Fire have begun to tease fans with details of their new album. Rumoured to be called 'Reflektor' mysterious pieces of art bearing this name began to appear across the United States earlier this month.
The band denied any official involvement, but over the weekend a new poster appeared bearing their name. Arcade Fire Tube picked up on the developments, and re-posted a picture taken by Guillermo Kardolus.
Alongside the 'Reflektor' title the poster seems to indicate that something will happen on September 9th… but what, exactly? Check back for the latest information.
Here's 'The Suburbs'.
