Currently on tour across the North America, Arcade Fire have prepared more than a few surprises for fans.
Throwing in cover versions along the way, the choice of song tends to tie in with the locality. So when the Canadian group hit Los Angeles, there were more than a few contenders.
Playing two nights at the Forum, the band kicked things off by covering Jane's Addiction's sleaze rock classic 'Been Caught Stealing' – while also interspersing this with snippets from 'Welcome To The Jungle' by Guns N Roses.
On the second night, Arcade Fire dropped a rendition of 'Axel F' – also known as the 'Beverly Hills Cop Theme'. Win Butler told the crowd: "It was actually written about Axl Rose, people don’t often realize that…"
